Not a Court or Government Office. We cannot retrieve a docket, issue a certified copy, reset a hearing, seal a case, or give legal advice. The Catawba Clerk or the relevant court must handle those requests.
Need an Official Docket or Record?
The Catawba County Clerk of Superior Court is the custodian for Superior and District Court records. North Carolina Portal is the online route for available public Case Summaries and Register of Actions. The clerk office and court staff are the appropriate channels when an official answer, copy, certification, or setting confirmation is needed.
- Public case search: use Case Lookup and select Catawba County in the Portal filters.
- Court date or setting: use Court Dates, then confirm an uncertain setting with the clerk or court office.
- Criminal record question: call the Criminal Department at (828) 695-6102.
- Civil record or calendar question: call the Civil Department at (828) 695-6103; Superior civil setting questions may use the Court Manager at (828) 695-6116.
- Certified or ordinary copy: contact the clerk before sending a request so the office can confirm the document, payment, and delivery procedure.
